We meet Tom Popper who live a hectic life in New York where his career comes before everything, until the day when he receives an unexpected inheritance in the form of a bunch of penguins. The penguins proves not to be the easiest of pets and turns upside down the whole Poppers life, but maybe they are still just what he needs?
